^ That's what happened when I was on jury duty, right after selecting the jury foreperson.
Since they've been sequestered for a couple of weeks, the foreperson decision was probably a pretty quick one.
I think it's gonna take a few days for a verdict because a lot of what was presented to the jury in this case was open to interpretation and perceptions of credibility, without many definitive points to focus upon. JMO.
If the jury hangs (which I could easily see on this one), I wonder if Zimmerman would take a plea, if the state would choose to retry him, if he'd still have the option of going for a SYG immunity hearing instead?...
It's an interesting and frustrating case; I don't think anyone posting here was out of line. Maybe off topic for a bit, refocused, and back on.
