Even better, aussie. Two of my brother-in-laws are from Mexico.
I don't even have to sign up for the ball and chain to get the homemade tamales.
We don't do nachos much, though. When I'm with my family at Christmas, it's usually tamales, enchiladas, carnitas, carne asada, taquitos (those are for me mostly, I don't know why I love the damn things so much), chips, and the hottest homemade salsa possible - ongoing competition.
This year was a traditional American dinner here in the city, though. Different, but great company, good food and lots to drink. I was the designated driver. Home safely.
My turn now. Having a cocktail, or two. Life is good.
