It was a close vote, 5 - 4, but what a historical one. Gay Pride weekend is a zoo here anyway. Given today's Supreme Court decision, I think it's gonna be even more insane trying to get around this Gay Pride weekend. The parties in the streets have been going down all day here already.

Justice Anthony Kennedy was the leading Justice voice in favor of equal marriage rights for all. Here's what he wrote.
Justice Clarence Thomas's dissenting opinion is just bizarre, especially coming from a black man married to a white woman IMO. He doesn't believe equal marriage rights have anything to do with dignity. Here's what he wrote.
