That was before the bloods and crips were ruralized... and before we made institutionalizing crazy people cruel and unusual punishment. I would argue that at least 12 people in Aurora wished we hadn't done that...
The world's a much different place than when you and I were children. Societal change isn't always for the good...
The perp did not display any craziness that would cause others to think he needed help. Though he was a loner. His choice to end his education may indicate he was giving up. I hear he looked for work and with all his scholastic achievements he could only land a job at Mc Donalds. His criminal record was only a traffic ticket. His mom may know something that could shed some light on this horrible act because it came as no surprise to her that he did this.
