I mourn the senseless loss of innocent lives. It's breaks part of my soul to witness it over and over... and I struggle to understand why as a society we allow it and can't stand up against it.
It's going to come out that this guy was disturbed, and was being treated for mental illness. But the prevailing wisdom is that we can't keep them out of society - we need to heal them by including them in society. It's the same bullshit that gets carried over with pedophiles, child predators, and violent criminals.
But guess what? That doesn't work. It just adds to the body count eventually... either when they kill themselves, or take others out in their disillusioned world.
