Infamous Murders - Horror on the Highways (Henry Lee Lucas / William Bonin / Joseph Paul Franklin)



Henry Lee Lucas (August 23, 1936 – March 13, 2001) was an American criminal, indicted in 189 cases of murder and once listed as America's most prolific serial killer.

William George Bonin (January 8, 1947 – February 23, 1996) was an American serial killer and a twice-paroled sex offender, also known as the Freeway Killer, a nickname he shares with two other serial killers. Between 1979 and 1980, Bonin tortured, raped and killed a minimum of 21 boys and young men, and is suspected of committing a further fifteen murders. Bonin was convicted and eventually executed in 1996 for 14 of these murders.

Joseph Paul Franklin (born April 13, 1950) is an American serial killer. He has been convicted of several murders, and has confessed to the attempted assassinations of two prominent people: the 1978 shooting of magazine publisher Larry Flynt and Flynt's attorney, and the 1980 shooting of Vernon Jordan, Jr. Franklin has not been convicted in either of those cases. Because Franklin has changed his story about some cases, the full extent of his crimes is uncertain, although both Larry Flynt and the law enforcement agents actively investigating the attempt on Flynt's life all seem to agree on Franklin as the shooter in that case.
