Probably because SoCal is lousy with hometown hotties who hop a bus looking for stardom and find out they're a dime a dozen out there. Girls and boys desperate for a break make almost willing victims for all manner of predator, from seedy porn guys to casting couch fishermen to pimps to the guys in ESAD's threads. NYC is another hotspot.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.
