I start a house sitting job tomorrow and the people are like, "All you need to do is feed her."

I don't think they understand how lonely the dog gets when they are not there.

I'm often surprised when people don't understand their own pet. Dogs are pack animals, they like companionship. I'm glad that you understand there is more to keeping a dog happy than simply feeding it.
