True, some sad shit that this has to be an issue, but there it is. I would sure rather know that any teacher carrying in the school no shit knows what they are doing. Most states requirements for CCC are woefully short of a real education on the subject. Here in Fl the class focusses entirely on the law, range and handling time is not required.
Some gun training offer actual training, but nowhere near all of them.
I think it should be required that in order to get a CCC you should have a minimum of 8 hrs hands on training. I got my Expert ribbon in one day in the military, but that was a long day of pretty intense training.
