It was difficult to watch him struggle through it but I did watch it all. It was very moving. It was obvious that everything he said about the victims was heartfelt.
There was a moment of silence on the House floor last night and it turned into a fiasco with people shouting and walking out, some said they wouldn't be participating in any more moments of silence as it was so very hypocritical. I agree, don't show any more faux concern nor sadness when you're not willing to come together and work to find solutions for all these senseless murders. As far as I can tell they do it simply to feel better about themselves. Fuck it, don't bother.
