Police have some video footage of a possible suspect and are asking those present at the Mother's Day celebration, along with the public, for assistance. ADD: Media reporting that police saw three possible suspects running from the scene.

Snip:
At least three of the victims were seriously wounded. Of the rest, many were grazed and authorities said that, overall, most wounds were not life threatening. No deaths were reported.

The victims included 10 men, seven women, a boy and a girl. The children, both 10 years old, were grazed and in good condition.

Police also say the reward for information leading to arrests and indictments in the case is $10,000.

Not hearing much from the white community on the majority of mass shootings in America which are committed predominantly by white people.

Wonder why not?

Safeway, Cinema and Newtown are now old news.

Kinda like Obama's failed gun legislation.

And the continued daily killing of black youth, by black youth, in Chicago . . . old news.

115 shootings, to date, in New Orleans since January 1.

The whites are hoarse and the colored have ammo.

Old news to anyone but the family and friends of the multiple victims of a dangerous or disturbed individuals ablility to buy guns legally over the counter to commit their massacres.

Ironic commentary coming from the only avatar that has a gun in it.

Hey sport, you can dismiss the continual decline in gun violence, and ignore that handgun violence by inner city youth drive the majority of gun statistics. You can also disregard that 6 of 10 firearm deaths are suicides. You can believe the narrative that long guns and assault rifles are killing huge swathes of people, even though they account for 1% or less of gun crimes.

Really, by all means just believe what you want to believe. Don't let facts get in your way!

The good news? Santa Claus still has you on the 'nice' list!

No.

A patient's medical history is a protected civil right staunchly defended by the ACLU.

You want to prevent the nutters from having guns, you'll need to crack open their medical records and then define what disqualifies you from ownership.

This one ain't on the NRA or the uber conservatives.

But I will blame the GOP for freeing the slaves and thus allowing the proliferation of black on black crime.

The fact is sport you are the world leaders in gun massacres and will continue to be so as long as you let the protection of a law invented 250 years ago to keep a king from reinvading your country override the need to stop homicidal maniacs from buying guns at walmart.

See you at the next high school massacre sport! But don't worry as long as you can defend yourself from an invasion from queen lizzy the 2nd and her redcoats I'm sure everything will be fine there's a good boy! Now run along and pop a cap in your moms ass!

That "fact" is untrue.

South and Central American countries make the US look tame.

Mexico: 2.7 times greater than US

Brazil: 5 times greater than the US

Columbia: 7.5 times greater than the US

All of these countries have far tougher gun regulations than the US . . . including mental health restrictions.

However, we have thug niggers and pussy white boys to keep us in the news.

Balls.

I am talking about gun massacres lone fruit loops walking into schools, shopping malls, cinemas and churches and randomly blowing people away. Usually with guns purchased legally in almost every single case. To say having background checks on nutcases wanting to buy guns would have no effect on the volume of gun massacres is an exercise in self delusion and lunacy.

I knew what you are talking about and other countries with shootings of more than 4 individuals are somehow magically forgotten or not mentioned.

I included these countries for your review with the caveat they REQUIRE a mental health component for gun ownership.

No one . . . NO ONE disagrees with the statement that identifying nutcases and preventing them from purchasing weapons is a bad idea.

You are failing to grasp a simple and god only knows how many fucking times it has been repeated fact that the US has extremely prohibitive laws regarding the disclosure of medical records.

You are quick to blame the NRA and the right wing nutfucks as the preventative force.

Here's something from the Ultra Liberal ACLU's website regarding medical record privacy and the evil Bush administration WHO WANTED TO OPEN THEM UP!

TO: Interested Persons

FROM: Ron Weich, ACLU Legislative Consultant

RE: Medical Records Privacy

DATE: March 7, 2001

A recent decision by the Bush Administration threatens to delay or weaken long-sought medical privacy protections in federal law. The ACLU supports the strongest possible medical confidentiality rules and opposes industry-led efforts to reduce patient privacy.

The Clinton administration locked them down in 1996.

The GOP has been fighting the privacy issue ever since.

And the Mental Health lobby will do anything to prevent the stigma of mental illness from returning.

You rally aren't as daft as aussie, are you?

You know how it is Tiki... easier to blame the guns then blame the nutjob.

Gun massacres are a mental health problem. Even in the UK with its strict gun licensing and restrictions, a few crazies have managed to go on killing sprees. All with guns, legally purchased and owned.

Also important to note that Lanza, Holmes, Loughner, Cho... all had been seen or were under care of mental health professionals.

This is clearly a mental health issue.
