The "Tits or GTFO" rebellion. Maybe there is a god, and he apparently listens to the prayers of teen boys and Midwest Spy.

Aussie's so uptight she probably thinks the PM's cleavage showing is demeaning to women everywhere.

Stop it all of you. Cleavage is a part of life. They are attempting to demean her. They are trying to attack her from every possible angle. It has not been a fair fight. The gender issue has been a topic of discussion here recently. She is the first female PM here and what it has highlighted is the rampant misogyny that is present in this country.

Yeah. Forget the facts that she has broken key election promises, alienated her own party and been the worst leader of this country since Billy McMahon..

Then, in desperation, she threw out her 'famous' misogyny speech and continued to try and bank on her five minutes of fame since and only succeeded in alienating a further 15% of the male vote who thought she was milking it a bit too hard.

She will go down in history as one of the poorest performing, and least popular, political leaders of all time. The really sad part is that a political lightweight like Tony Abbott will breeze into the job not on his ability, or popularity, but her lack thereof.

She can probably take some comfort in the fact that she may not hold that position in history for long; Abbott is almost a shoe in to steal the title from her..

The facts and the evidence are in. There are academics around the world watching, discussing and reporting on the bias that our PM has been receiving. The Liberal Party Menu was disgusting in the extreme as well as the question regarding her partner's sexuality. Completely disrespectful to our nations leader irrespective of sex. The point is, that those who are interested in the facts will cite this deplorable behaviour and examine those who have dished out this misogyny on a regular basis as a case study to be examined for years to come.

To deny the existence of sexism and misogyny in Australia at this present moment in time is to participate in it. Moreover, the sexism that is currently present in Australia has made us famous. We are now being reported by the rest of the world by the outrageous behaviour that is currently taking place in this country. Maybe as a nation we have been dumbed down to it. The bar is so low that we find this acceptable.

Whether you are Liberal, Labor, Katter Party, One Nation, Greens you should still respect our nations leader whether they are male or female, that is currently not happening here in Australia.

Oh God Maggot, it's not about the cleavage. Those women used there cleavage as a voice to empower themselves. The women that participated in a "nurse in" when a male talk show host spoke out against breastfeeding used their breasts as a voice for the greater good.

You are very naughty Maggot. You know very well that there is nothing more horrific than the sight of an enormously large butt swallowing a tiny g-string.

I hear some of you points and agree, but some you are embellishing a little. We are Australia, we are very important to us, but we occupy a very small space in global news unless someone has an agenda to push with one of our 'newsworthy examples'

Of course the whole singling out of Gillard and the 'not being a fair fight' and misogyny/sexism arguments are going to stand out at the moment; she is the only female leader in power, other than Angela Merkel (which is an interesting digression that a woman in power in such a known sexist/misogynist nation as Germany isn't under the same cloud...maybe because she is a pretty good politician and has been a successful leader?).. I think you're a little bit right, but the rest is a cover up for her lack of performance.

I do however agree about the menu thing. Regardless of who you are, the leader of your country deserves more respect than that. Brough should have been made an example of, and Abbott's inaction should have seen him given a vote of no confidence for accepting it in the party he leads. Similarly the partner question, although I do sometimes think its a fair question, there are things you should say and things you should only think.

I'd like to see your evidence to support the bolded part. I'm just not seeing it in the volumes you are conveying. Wouldn't be the first time I've missed it, happy to acknowledge if is there.

This is just a sample of recent pieces that have been written. I have tried to choose a variety to show that this is being reported and watched across the globe. I first saw these latest news articles reported on BBC world on Foxtel, then Al Jazeera.

Granted, the few isolated events are being reported on digital media across he planet, but I haven't seen anyone out there writing extended articles about Australia being the homeland of sexism. It's probably more of a reflection on our relaxed security that two kids can throw sandwiches at the Prime Minister on two separate occasions than it is on our attitude to sexism.

Brough is a fucking idiot. Talk about put a gun to your own head.
