A mother described by police as an “absolute monster” has been found guilty of murdering her two year old son.
Keanu Williams died in January 2011 after being found with 37 seperate injuries, including a fractured skull and a torn abdomen in Ward End, Birmingham.
Rebecca Shuttleworth, 25, of Cottingham Road, Manchester was convicted after a five month trial.
Detective chief inspector Caroline Marsh said it was the worst case of child abuse she had ever seen.

The judge is said to be considering a life term without parole she brutalised him for a long time before killing him apparently.
The police investigating the crime are appalled by her actions.

I don't know how people can abuse kids that young. It's never okay but how does one expect angelic behavior from a baby?

Why doesn't it ever occur to these dreadful people that there are literally hundreds & hundreds of people who would be delighted to raise these children. These awful parents don't have to keep those kids.

I sure hope the judge comes through with LWOP. It really does take a monster to turn her own child into a punching bag and beat him to death over time. Maddening.

She was sentenced to life but only got a minimum term of 18 years.
I would have thrown the fucking key away on her ass.

Does that mean she's eligible for parole once she does 18 yrs?
She murdered her baby! If they don't want to put her to death then keep her in the slammer for the rest of her life. People should be forced to forfeit their own life when they take another life. Period.
