NJ home invasion
#1
Nanny cam footage of a home invasion in the middle of the day. This occurred in a nice, low crime neighborhood in NJ.

Scary stuff.

The POS beat the hell out of the woman in front of her 3 year old, stole some jewelery, and split.

Good thing the nanny cam was rolling; hope someone recognizes the guy and tips police soon.

LE has arrested Shawn Custis and charged him with attempted murder, robbery, burglary and child endangerment.

His bail is set at $750k.

He was arrested in Manhattan. The POS was staying with a girlfriend who kicked him out when she saw him on the news.

Unbelievably, this loser had yet another girlfriend and went in to hiding with her, but police tracked him down at her place and busted both of them.

Shockingly, Custis has a long criminal history, including multiple convictions for burglary.

Not only should this POS never walk the streets again, it's unbelievable that he hadn't been locked up for a very long term previously, imo.

Custis has over 20 felony convictions, including one for committing a very similar brutal home invasion attack over 20 years ago.

Snip:

On a September afternoon 22 years ago, Shawn Custis broke into a brick split-level home on a quiet suburban street in Delran, Burlington County, and started rifling through a jewelry box in the bedroom.

When he heard the front door open, authorities say, Custis hid in a closet. Seconds later, he jumped out and attacked the unsuspecting young mother and her 18-month-old daughter who had just arrived home. Custis pushed the woman onto a bed and punched her repeatedly, according to police reports. When she broke free and tried to grab the child, Custis yanked her by the hair, then pushed her and her child down a flight of stairs. He escaped in the woman’s car.

The mother and child survived the attack and Custis was arrested the next day, attempting to sell the stolen Ford station wagon in Camden. He was later convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Over 20 felony convictions! Why is anyone given so many chances to fuck up before they are locked away forever. He can't function in society!

12 of those since he was released from his longest sentence. He's been incarcerated 4 times and they keep letting him out and he just keeps committing crimes. Insanity.

He escaped a half-way house and committed 20 burglaries while on the lam for one month.

With the attempted murder charge he faces now, hoping Custis will be put away for a long term and not released early. Penalties don't seem to deter him and he's extremely dangerous. Terrorizing and assaulting women and children...

Custis is the kind of nigger who fully deserves a cap in his ass.

What happened to the three strikes rule? This guy should be in prison for life. He is clearly never going to change.

I guess those so called "security systems" are not actually all that good. Since on one of the TV clips I saw of the "outside" of that poor woman's house, showed that it had an "ADT" security protected system, sign posted in front of it!

Didn't seem to deter that POS, and there was no time for quick Police response.
