SYG BOYCOTT

I don't want anything bad to happen to George but I don't wish him well either. I take some snotty satisfaction in knowing that athletically, he's a soft 1 on a scale of 1-10, I'd like to make him cry like a girl.

I would like to see him sue for damages and at least get enough to have Bariatric surgery for that untimely weight gain and plastic surgery to change his face so he can go out in public. He also could go in for a study to find out why he is more of a girl than his gay brother.

I have no interest in defending George Zimmerman against his detractors, nor joining those who wish him misery.

That group . . . the one freely expressing personal contempt for Zimmerman . . . Do you think they are fueled by the fact that, throughout history, the (non-black) punks always get away (when it comes to crimes against non-whites)?

Fuck the racial haters and those who remain silent against them. Their "justice" is akin to Maytee justice.

And, "Yes" . . . I believe the root of these protests is racially motivated.

There is NOTHING to indicate that these malcontents give nothing but lip service to changing SYG laws.

Am I supposed to believe if Zimmerman was convicted, SYG protests would be virtually non-existent because the law "worked"? (Rhetorical, HotD)

The alleged loophole remains either with conviction or acquittal.

Why weren't these concerned individual investing their time and angst, PRIOR prosecution, to make sure that at the end of the trial, regardless of the verdict, the new SYG law is in place to honor Trayvon? (Rhetorical, HotD)

It took less than 6 months to enact the first Caylee's Law.

How long has Skittles been dead? (NOT rhetorical, HOtD).

Well shit, Tiki, just for those "rhetorical" and "non rhetorical" qualifiers, I'm pleading the fifth!!!

Ah, hell...Trayvon has been dead for 17 months.

I'm not personally invested in this one.

Protests can be productive when they're peaceful; don't mind who speaks up for whatever they believe.

Now, I'm just Interested in seeing what changes, if any, come from the whole process and public attention.

Wait...who told Stevie Wonder Trayvon was black? Goddamn troublemakers. He'd never have figured it out by himself.

Many times I can tell someone is black just by listening to them. Why do so many seem to have such a problem with enunciating? That shit drives me insane.

Cultural retardation is my thoughts on it. They stay ignorant on purpose and try to make their peers do the same.

Trayvon definitely sounds like one of those made up black American names, like two random syllables just thrown together to try and sound a bit different from anything biblical.

Civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson said Friday he also wanted a boycott of the state.

"We can boycott Florida, cut conventions in Florida, for its 'stand your ground' laws," said Jackson, speaking on a panel at the National Urban League's annual conference in Philadelphia. "If we can boycott South Africa and bring it down, we should boycott Florida and bring it down."

"Our children are not criminals, our children are not dogs, they have a right to walk in peace from 7-Eleven, to walk near gated communities, to walk anywhere they're legally able to walk without getting profiled and threatened," he said. "How do we prevent this from happening to our children? It's about changing these laws."

Trayvon's Martin's father, Tracy Martin, presented a concrete vision for how to change "stand your ground" earlier this week. In an emotional speech Wednesday before members of Congress, he asked lawmakers to consider a "Trayvon Martin Act" that would amend the law to make it illegal for a person to be the initial aggressor when using force in self-defense.

Several members expressed support of the act, including Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-D.C., who said the law served as "a clear and present danger to black men."

Take a look at the SYG laws and amend them, if necessary. That makes sense to me.

But, boycotting the state of Florida over that statute is in no way comparable to boycotting South Africa over apartheid. Plus, Florida is only one of many states with SYG statutes. Jesse's definitely looking for some media coverage and off base here, imo.

As far as SYG and self defense laws serving a "a clear and present danger to black men", that's way under-reaching, imo. The same existing law applies to all potential victims and perpetrators whether they be black, white, orange... Holmes Norton is another one hopping on a band wagon and inserting race where it's not a factor, imo.

Maybe they can boycott voting in Florida in the next Presidential election.

Comparing Florida to South Africa really is fucking stoopid.

I'm all for supporting civil rights and stuff and standing up to racism but some of these civil rights spokesmen really shoot themselves in the foot with some of the fucking claptrap they come out with.

some of these civil rights spokesmen...

They're nothing but race baiters, trying to keep the embers stoked

It's really sad that they continue to keep this alive, while milions of black people continue to live in poverty and have very little that's positive in their future. You'd think they'd like to concentrate on solutions to THOSE societal ills.

But, that doesn't win you points with people that want to keep blaming 'the man' for all the profiling and killing that's being perpetrated these days by 'white hispanics'.

Well . . . there's always 'HOPE'.

Additionally, there is: 'CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN', 'FORWARD', 'GREATER TOGETHER', 'A FAIR SHOT', and 'WE DON'T QUIT'.

Wanna bet these slogans were written for Obama, by whitey?

Bill Cosby understands it.

He added: “They’re standing on the corner and they can’t speak English. I can’t even talk the way these people talk: ‘Why you ain’t,’ ‘Where you is’ … And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. … Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. … You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth!”

We have one black guy that works with us that is straight out of the Chicago ghetto. At first he was real hard to understand. Then we started giving him shit about his speach and he got better.
It was always Ax instead of ask [and shit like that]. So we would stop him in mid sentance and say, why do you want to AX me. I didn't do anything wrong. After 4 years of working with us crackers he can now be understood. I am sure that when he goes home on vacations/visits he goes right back to the old way of speaking, but at least now he dont sound like a uneducated street thug when he is on a job site.

It makes me laugh at all of the spelling mistakes the enlightened whiteman makes in his post about correcting the black man!

Pot kettle white who can't fucking spell telling pot kettle black who can't fucking speak!

It is literally the blind leadin the blind into the cultural minefield motherfuckers!
