How?, where? And why?

I think all religions are nuts but Catholicism to me is right up there with Scientology and extremist Islam in the bat shit crazy department.

I hate people cooing all the time about the Dalai Lama, fuck the Dalai Lama!

You do know the Lamas ruled over the people of Tibet like the English knights and kings of old, they ruled with an iron fist and the people were more or less their serfs.

Since China went in ordinary Tibetan people now have jobs they actually get paid a wage to do as opposed to being the servants of the Lamas.

Is the Chinese goverment fair?, not really but things are getting better, they are certainly a lot fairer than the Lamas that's for sure.

As an athiest is this your view also? Goebbels wrote in 1941 that Hitler "hates Christianity, because it has crippled all that is noble in humanity." or you just do not like religion. It matters nothing to me, just wondering as a bad Catholic.

I think you are confusing Atheists with dictators.

You see dictators are horrible people from many different religious faiths and belief systems who have the will to dominate and subjugate people especially immigrants and none white people and poor people. They watch everyone secretly in case they take part in unpatriotic behaviour, they make the people worship their flags and national symbols and the military are a class apart whose actions cannot be questioned regardless of how brutal and unfair they are. And the police act with wilful and deadly impunity.

Sound familiar?

An Atheist is just someone who doesn't believe in God or Gods. You are just one God away from being an Atheist yourself Maggotyboo.

Only one more God to go! Join us!

Lol.

Oh and by the way? The wonderful Catholic church categorically would not denounce Hitler in anyway until he lost the war and was dead!

Sweet Christianity in action!

I think if the Tea Party want new recruits they should have a chat with the neo Nazis and the white supremacists I think they would find they have more in common than they think.

I don't need to explain that to you because you don't believe it. I believe that the crucifixtion was a powerful spiritual act in where there was a spiritual exchange. It is complex and I don't know if I am qualified to explain it anyway, but I believe it, I know it and understand it.

Faith takes guts. It takes courage and requires you to be real and authentic with yourself and others. Doubt is part of the journey of faith. You know when your faith is working when doubt comes in, it challenges what you are believing in.

The Schaibles are third-generation members of a small Pentecostal community, the First Century Gospel Church in northeast Philadelphia.

Herbert and Catherine Schaible are being sentenced today in the death last year of their 8-month-old son, Brandon. At the time, they were under court orders to seek medical care for their children after their 2-year-old son, Kent, died of untreated pneumonia in 2009.

"We believe in divine healing, that Jesus shed blood for our healing and that he died on the cross to break the devil's power," Herbert Schaible said in a 2013 police statement. Medicine, he said, "is against our religious beliefs."

Their pastor, Nelson Clark, has said the Schaibles lost their sons because of a "spiritual lack" in their lives and insisted they would not seek medical care even if another child appeared near death.

They have seven surviving children.

I have mixed feelings about this. It was all over my news this morning. By all accounts these are parents who love & care for their children BUT they have now had 2 die. Smiley_emoticons_slash

Criminals. It's child abuse. What a pity they didn't get pneumonia.

I think that's probably how the judge is going to view it today.

The couple was sentenced today to 3 12 to 7 years.

The judge seems to agree with you and aussie and had some harsh words for the couple:

Religious faith is no excuse for murder and that's what that couple are, murderers.

You can't explain because there is no explanation.

Jesus never mentioned homosexuality or it being a sin you and I both know that don't we?

I will give you one more chance, is homosexuality an important issue in Christianity? If so why?

Hang on, hang on, I 100% agree with you. I have said this before about homosexuality. I don't think homosexuality is important to God/Jesus/Higher power/Universe. I think it's important to religious-holier-than-thou-pious-Jimmy Swaggarts of this world. I am not one of those. When I looked up homosexuality in the new testament and researched it further. The new testament is originally written in greek, it has been translated as homosexuality, but the actual greek is talking about sexual perversion, not sexual orientation. Anyway, the extremists have run with the translation. But it is incorrect. I can find the links to show you.

I believe God is love. If God is love and two people love each other, whether they are gay straight or bisexual, transexual, God MUST be present, because love is present. I am for gay marriage and equal rights to all human beings. I think the argument against gay marriage is ridiculous.

I think if Christians spent more time helping the poor and those in need in the the third world and less time interfering in politics and peoples bedrooms the world would definitely be a better place and maybe people would take them more seriously. Your serve Boris.
