No, I didn't see him drop, it was just a picture of him and the church.

Why does he need to tell the whole congregation? Isn't it a private family matter? I don't understand these public confessions. Relationships are hard, we are complex fragile creatures. I think it is misguided to heap public humiliation and judgement ontop of difficult times with your family. Big mistake.

I saw the other preacher that was involved in that scandal with Jim Bakker in real life. His name was John Wesley Fletcher. He prayed over me in a line up and even spoke to me. He was really interesting to listen to and watch. He had a team that travelled with him and he had a beautiful wife that had been through an extraordinary amount of tragedies in her life. He died of AIDS in the 90s.

Yes, I remember that JWFletcher had come out talking about his gay affairs. His poor wife had been through so much in her life. When JWF came into her life, they got married after 30 days. I remember when she was speaking, she was talking about how wonderful her life was then. All of this was before the scandal broke it was around 1986. He was highly revered as a person that performed miracles.
