HOW RUDE!
#1

Can you recall the last time you were rude to someone? I'm not talking from behind the wheel and you flip someone the bird or mouth a profanity, I'm talking face to face rude?

Care to elaborate?

Saturday at Disney World. The place was crowded shoulder to shoulder so I had to walk with my daughter through this jack ass couple holding hands. I said excuse me and when they had to let go of each other's hand so we could get by the guy gave me a dirty look and mumbled something, so I said "fucking douche bag " out loud. I don't really consider that rude, however. If I didn't care about going to jail I would have turned around and slashed his Achilles tendons with my pocket knife.

I'm never rude until someone is rude to me first, after that I can turn into a real cunt.

Yep, for what we spent in three days my husband and I could have had a nice little getaway in Vegas. It was fun though other than the weirdo, hand holding, childless couple at the Magic Kingdom.

Have you ever had anyone cut in front of you in line like they didn't even see you standing there? I don't usually say anything no matter how annoying it may be, but years ago some crazy lady cut in front of me while I was waiting in line for an hour waiting to pay a traffic ticket, I said I believe I was here first and she started yelling and arguing with me. Jesus Christ. It ended up with me calling her a psycho bitch, but it ended up not mattering anyway because they call you in the order you put your ticket in and of course they called my name first.

I'm always reminded of Aussie whenever I think of that time.

Yes. Any time it has happened it was a black person who did it. The same women who do that are the very same ones that take their half of the aisle plus half of mine. I don't ever say anything because I know they are crazy, they'll get all loud and do that head swiveling shit.

I'm rude to people on the phone all of the time; get a lot of sales and survey calls. Some of them are recordings, so I just hang up immediately - click, no problem.

But, more than half are people trying to pimp some service I don't need or get me to provide a bunch of data when I don't have time to tie up the phones. "Sorry, not interested, but thanks for calling". Click. I say that about 5-10 times a day, which I don't think is all that rude.

The rudeness comes out when someone tells me they're affiliated with my internet/phone carrier, or my payroll software company, or something like that and I ask immediately, "is this a sales call?" and get told "no". So, then I have to listen to make sure there's no change in my contracts or services, which is almost never what it's about -- instead, it's some sales company with a target marketing list trying to push a "free" service that isn't ultimately free at all. I hate those assholes; I was a rude bitch before hanging up on one of them less than an hour ago.

I can't remember the last time I was rude to someone's face; like sally and crash, that's only happened when someone was rude to me first.

I didn't think about the sales calls. I'm the secretary for my business so I get them 100 times a day and they don't stop even after taking them off the do not call registry. It drives me insane and I usually just hang up on them. My husband fucks with them sometimes. He has this accent and told some lady the other day that he's an old man that escaped the holocaust and spends his golden years surfing the net for porn. I don't have it in me to fuck with them like that, but when he does it it's pretty funny.

About once every 2 weeks or so I tweak on some douchbag at home depot or public, standing there in the isle like a lost fucking cow with their cart turned sideways in the isle completely oblivious to the rest of the planet. I usually start off with "You could fucking move Dumbass"
I sometimes regret it, but then I get to the tool section and I am ok.

I tell people off sometimes and they don't even know I did. Usually a week goes by and the light bulbs go on and they say "HEY!!" But I practice on the experts and they give me tips. Never went off on a customer service person or some smuck tending the counter though.
That's like yelling at a deaf mute for my satisfaction not theirs. Physiological masturbation at its climax. Bad Karma at its best.

I'm only rude when someone is rude to me. However I am sometimes snarky. Like if someone doesn't hold the door for me when they go through first I say hey thanks for holding the door. Especially if it's a man. I always hold the door for other people. Or if someone runs to get in front of me in line at the market I'll say yep self important. Or good thing I'm not in a hurry. I don't do it all the time. Usually when I'm PMSing.

I don't blame you. I really don't like confrontation. That's why when I get snarky, it's in a passive aggressive way.

^ yes it doesn't mean that you are a weak person, it's just that you don't want to be fighting with everyone at every drop of the hat. People are annoying at times for sure, I just go out of my way to not get in their way and get on with my day.

I'm pretty much a door mat. But, if somebody on the phone tries to get me to buy something, I very sweetly ask if they accept food stamps.

Another reason why texting is so popular.

If rather text than talk on the phone any day. I hate talking on the phone.

Texting takes away the emotion and hesitation in the spoken word. It also takes out any instant reaction from the one being texted. A very impersonal way to communicate.
