The backbones are crunchy and I LOVE the ones in hot sauce! No kissy kissy after though, unless you eat a jelly doughnut first.

Anchovies are nasty too, they can really fuck up a pizza. I don't mind them, however, when they're incorporated into a sauce. Like Caesar dressing or a pasta sauce.

Maggot inspired me to pick up four cans of sardines in hot sauce for my husband's lunches. It's an easy lunch to pack too, you don't even have to open up the can. Just throw it in there with a fork, a couple slices of bread and maybe a piece of fruit and voila, he will have ABL during work too.
