When I read that this Brown was honored at the VMA'S I have never been so sick to my stomach over this shit. Obama sends 2 White House Reps to his funeral. SERIOUSLY?
I honestly can NOT WAIT for the Toxicology reports to come out. This will be awesome, everyone can assume at this point he was high. Buying blunts, how many people buy blunts to smoke them without Weed in them. LOL Come ON now.
The media has created such a circus, IMO they have created this into more of an ordeal than it should have been. The stories that I have read are so conflicting. AND THEN the person Brown was with say on a RADIO station, OH yeah he punched the cop in the face and tried to take his gun. WHAT??!! And still this Brown person is being honored.
I feel for the officer involved, I have seen all the videos of the aftermath. MY ONLY question that has not been answered is this, is Wilson the officer walking around the body?
I just know, from working in the legal/law field, when you are in a situation like this at times they take the shooter immediately out of the situation. But on some media outlets they are pointing at this one guy saying this resembles Wilson, and on a GRAINY video see his face is a little red.

More Washington reps went to this funeral than went to the Iron lady's funeral. Priorities are in order according to the unicorns and rainbow coalition.

When I read that he was honored at the VMA's it was said that he got more attention than Robin Williams. This is wrong on so many levels.

I don't like that I think most of society are retarded but they make me think it. I always feel the need to defend my disgust. Smiley_emoticons_slash

I've read several different reports all saying the same thing - the officer was badly beaten by Michael Brown and that's why he feared for his life. I'm wondering why no photographs of his injuries are being published. The police have released a couple of things that show Michael Brown in a bad light and I have to believe that showing pix of a badly beaten police officer would help them immensely. Anyone have a theory on why they wouldn't be put out there? Could it be because they don't exist, that the officer wasn't hurt in the way that it's been insisted that he was?

Well, they tried to spin the story initially that the kid had just committed the robbery... but apparently the officer didn't know anything about it, so it doesn't justify any part of it. I'd think that the only reasons for not releasing photos of a beaten cop would be
A) not wanting another failed attempt to spin the story B) not wanting to give the public ideas about beating up cops / not want to show the police force as fallible (beat-up-able) or in a negative light C) the officer not signing off on releasing his beat up image or D) the 'bad beating' didn't leave really physical marks.
You can get punched in the jaw, head, chest, kicked, etc etc all without leaving very photograph-able evidence. Without bruises and cuts on the eyes and face, the public doesn't care. Has to be shock value in an instant, ya know? I've been punched in the jaw and not really noticed till hours later when it was sore.

I was talking to someone earlier, an older female that I would term white bread and she asked what I had been hearing about this shooting in Ferguson and she went on to say, "I heard the parents of that other nigger who got shot were supporting this fat nigger's parents". I was literally dumbstruck, I didn't know how to respond to that so I didn't. I talk some shit in Mock and I've said things I wouldn't dream of saying in the real world so I really shouldn't have been shocked but I was.

Well, if nigger means 'black person' to her, she didn't really say anything too crazy. I assume she meant something like Trayvon Martin's parents supporting Browns. It's not like she claimed he deserved it or something. I mean, those are the two extremes. 1) Brown deserved to get shot and anyone who riots is just an uppity minority. 2) Michael was a little angel and got gunned down by the white man just for being black. The truth is probably in between. I cannot BELIEVE that someone said at his funeral that he was out doing God's work on that day. Pure insanity.

When it comes down to it... I don't live in Ferguson. I know the greater St. Louis area is a shithole cause I drove thru it a few times lately, but cops very well could be oppressive and racist. Entirely plausible. Doesn't mean you have to go canonizing a criminal just because he got killed in an alleged altercation with police. This is the same old OJ bullshit we had decades ago. 'Not Guilty.' "We won! We won!" Bitch what the fuck did you win? Just cause he's black and you're black, him beating a murder rap (THAT HE DID) means you get free ice cream? Fuck outta here.

Even better.

“Michael Brown was 18 years old. He was shot around noon. Our Lord and Savior hung on the cross — now compare our time frame 12 o’clock to the Jewish time frame which is at the sixth hour. Michael Brown died on August the 9th. Jesus hung on the cross between the sixth and the 9th hour.”
“Michael Brown prophetically spoke of his demise. Not giving justification or legalizing this officer — it does not give him the right to take his life. Judas when he betrayed Jesus Christ — he yet have to suffer the consequences.”

From working with these type of cases in the past, the pictures of the officers injuries are considered evidence. So if they are trying to keep this case under wraps until they have the FULL story, nothing will come out unless it is leaked.

I know that more rumors and false stories have been spinning then the actual facts from the Lead Det.

This is such a sensitive case, I am sure they will be triple checking that every I is dotted and every T is crossed. Because if not these scumbags will find a stupid error and run with it.

SO many things wrong with this case, I watched a video of 3 black females very adamantly telling what happened. ALL DIFFERENT STORIES. The only thing that was the same was Brown was shot. Makes me sick, and this is what media runs with!

NOT EVEN A WORD OR video or article about the Police Chief that was killed. THEY are not even bringing to light that these people of Ferguson BURNT BUSINESSES DOWN, STOLE from them and TRASHED/Broke windows. All they have is a cop calling them fucking animals. Well HELLO they are acting like fucking animals.

Then the whole business about the cop threatening the crowd, what you do not see is what is the crowd doing to this guy to make him act like this? Maybe hold homemade bombs threatening to throw them at him.

Ugh Oh how I could go on and on about these reporters. I actually laughed when the reporters had tear gas thrown at them. Dumbass people were told to move and refused.

Rant done...lol

I think it's wrong for an unarmed person to be shot countless times. I listened to a recording of the gunfire and I find it hard to believe that a professional felt that fearful. That's how I feel about that but this other stuff is bullshit. Being compared to Jesus, doing the Lords work, etc., etc., and the fact that people were sent to represent the White House is pretty much fucked up too. They didn't send anyone to Jim Foley's memorial service. How is that okay? A thug is deserving but Jim Foley isn't? That really irks me.

^ I wonder if they sent someone to the funeral of the MN cop who was murdered a month ago by a complete thug? Rhetorical.

As for this entire episode, it just seems unreal that a kid with a future of crime in front of him, which is exactly what was coming, can receive this kind of outpouring.

I have no reason to doubt the officers story.

4 shots to the arm before two head shots. He was trying to clip him instead of going center-mass (far more likely to be fatal), but when the kid kept coming, he had to put a stop to it.

This was a big kid who loved to intimidate, as we saw with the convenience store video.

He's coming off the high of stealing/taking what he wanted at the store, and now he's going to try it with the local white cop. It backfired.

But now he's canonized and he's a martyr.

Wow.

I can't be indifferent to that. I don't like it at all. It's certainly not deserved. This was not an extraordinary person. He was little more than a common thug. I saw the video of him in the store, I saw how he presented himself and I saw what he did. Somehow that seems to have gotten lost.

I'd just like to add that I would feel the same way if this kid had been white. A thug is a thug.

Fortunately there are many smart black people who know/ understand what went down that day, but for the millions and millions of ignorant blacks, the only thing that mattered was that 'The Man' gunned one of theirs down in cold blood.

It happens, it is wrong, but people of all colors get shot "by mistake," by LE every so often. LE needs more training in non-lethal take-downs, how to deal with the mentally ill and so on. i saw image of Michael Brown on TV allegedly stealing cigars and the clerk was trying to stop him from stealing them. He looked like your typical bully and he ends up being shot. No, his offense doesn't warrant death, I agree, but he is involved in high risk behavior so he put himself in front of a cop who perceived him as a threat. All day Sat, it was all about Michael Brown on CNN, and I thought why is there so much hero worship in this case. The looting, stealing, riots, etc. was just an excuse to take stuff that didn't belong to you. What really bothered me is that CNN only featured the James Foley tragedy a few times, while most of the programming all day long was about Michael Brown.....I agree that the number of Gov't officials who attended his funeral was way off base for a divided country. For God's sake, why didn't one official go visit with Foley's parents.....and that this was mentioned at the Awards ceremony is a testament as to how the media skews information and forces some of us to believe something other than the truth. We have this backwards. The hero worship should be for Mr. James Foley, a journalist who cared about people; wanted to report the truth and came from the U.S.A.
