Where have you been? I know its springtime down under and you are out and about but your shaggy ass has been gone for awhile and you really should get back in here and straighten out a few people like Sally and User they both need a good spanking. Aussiebitch I've seen you poking your head out from behind the couch so I know your head is still somewhat attached to your shoulders so get back in here because I need a "down under" fix.

I don't know why I care, but it annoys me when people around here put up Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. Unless we get lucky it's around 80 degrees for Christ's sake. I wait to get my Christmas tree until the first cold night of the year which is usually at least in the 2nd week of Dec.

It's coming earlier & earlier every year now. I've seen a lot of stores with Christmas decor out now, Lowes, Home Depot, department stores, drug stores and garden centers.

I'm one of the people who annoy you :(
I put one tree up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving for a couple different reasons and the other tree goes up in December, I usually have a party for that.

For years I froze my ass off putting up Christmas lights around the middle of December.
Finally one year, the think light went on, & I said to myself, self, why not put up the lights the end of November when it's not so bone chillin cold out there. So I did, when it was 45 not 20 degrees out there, and just didn't turn them on till mid December! Smiley_emoticons_smile

I can see if you live in a cold climate, but this is Fl. I can't get in the Christmas spirit when it feels like the Amazon rainforest outside.
