MARGARITA MACHINE
#1
Does anyone have one of those specialized margarita machines? I've always just used a blender and such, but we might go in on a gift for someone and that's what the group has picked.

Just wondering how they work and if I should bother talking them out of it, or just throw my $50 in and keep quiet.

My best friend has one and we use it all the time. We hauled it down to the gulf for vacation last year. It's the Margaritaville machine, I think. Here's a pic of it.

Or maybe you were talking more industrial.

Nope, that's the thing they were talking about. Are they really better than a blender? I was watching some youtube videos and I do have to admit they have a cool factor going for it.

Meh, it's $50. I'll go with it.

Margaritas were my very first drunk. I can still recall the heaving.

F2, we ended up going with one that looks like your picture... different color though I think. $350 out the door, split 7 ways was perfect.

Thanks for the real-world review.

I don't know who you're buying it for, but chances are everyone would have been better off just chipping in for a whore named Margarita.
