Best thing(s):
Access to info, you can find information on just damn near anything you need. Some info better than others but I have yet to look for something and find Nothing, useless info, bad info, but never nothing. It used to require a trip to town and the library.
Free Porn...had to list that..
Shopping: You can buy just about anything on the net. There is almost always more than one source and you can compare stuff and read reviews without leaving the house. Saved me untold trips to a bunch of placed in search of that elusive whatever..
A way to reconnect with folks that we have lost contact with, facebook, aol, myspace...MOCK...met a lot of new friends in here too

Worst things:
You can waste more time on the web than I ever thought possible, its cost the economy Billions...
Advertising, jesus christ, I hate advertising..
Predators, its just another path for them, they always find a way...
