Trump for president
Do you believe, in this case, that the government is intentionally misleading us? To what end? To piss off Trump who hates people questioning the legitimacy of his presidency? To further alienate Russia before Trump takes office and does God knows what perverted acts with Putin? Trump could conceivably reverse a large part of this so...I'm not seeing some nefarious advantage to an intelligence red herring over this matter. And it assumes that both parties are either in cahoots or that the agencies are feeding the Republicans something other than what the Democrats have been told (in order for it to be a Democratic party ploy).

I just don't see it here. Plus it makes perfect sense to me. Trump has practically thrown himself at Putin since day one of his candidacy. Licked his lying boots. Why wouldn't Russia prefer Trump win the election? And are they above cyber attacks? That's a big hell no.

It's a "rush to judgement". Obama is acting too quickly. He seems to be busy pardoning some and indicting others. I am sure there is time for a rational 2 party congress to weigh the sanctioning of Putin when they reconvene.

Another "scorched earth" policy from the Dems. Shoot the messenger not the message.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Why is it so "them" and "us" over there? I mean shouldn't it just be "us" you guys are called the US. It's sad really to see such nasty bickering. It's non productive and not conducive to meaningful debate where you get clarity and answers.

If you fight with each other like that, it's like a dog chasing it's tail.

Should be but its not. 10 years ago we were one, especially after 9/11. 2006 barry was the keynote speaker at the DNC convention and was introduced by the CNN announcer as the next president of the united states, that was 2 years before the election. That day I knew we were in for a fuck story, the GOP had their head up there ass, completely blew their selection process, lost the election and allowed the most inept, decisive race baiter in history into the whitehouse. The GOPs response was the t-baggers, more idiocy. We lost the 2012 election. all through the last 8 years us regular americans, patriots, working class people have been told that because we disagree with obama that we are racist, if we disagree with killary or michelle we are women haters, if we do not think we should have to make wedding cakes for gays we are homophobes and if we think people should be vetted and made to follow a legal process before coming into our country we are also racist. We didn't start the name calling and bull shit, the dems did. Shit is going to change now. We will be going to go back to being civil, the idiocy in our colleges will stop, illegals are going to be out...all a good start

It's only going to get worse. This wasn't a normal election. If people say differently then they haven't been paying attention. It has affected the relationships in some families, in some friendships and with some co-workers and I don't feel that's an exaggeration. For many people it has changed how they view others. This isn't supposition, this is something I've seen for myself.

It looks to me like the Dems are doing the dividing now. The shoe is on the other foot when it comes to agreeing with who is Prez and they don't like it. They are kicking and screaming and refusing to believe it has really happened. Yes, Trump is our next Prez. Mine, YOURS, all of ours. Deal with it. Come together now or deal with another 8 years of wheel spinning division.
Beer drinking, gun toting, Bike riding,
womanizing, sex fiend, sexist, asshole !
Don't like it? Well than F.U !!!!!!!!!

Did you read the news this morning? OMFG. 28 Obama kicks out some unwelcome Russian diplomats, installs a few more sanctions and threatens a covert, retaliatory cyber attack at some point. R-McCain, R-Mitchell etc. ALL feel like it's too little, too late (so goes the theory that Dems are terribly divided) and they plan to meet next week to discuss the issue (the armed services or intelligence service group--I dunno). Meanwhile, yesterday Donald says he'll think about it next week when he gets more information. Ooooo-kay. In the meantime, Putin announces he's NOT going to retaliate as usual and instead will wait for the next administration (although I heard they closed a school or something). Trump tweets (basically on behalf of Americans now which REALLY FUCKING PISSES ME OFF) "Great move on delay (by V. Putin)-I always knew he was very smart!".

I have no words...he's insane. He also tweeted to Israel earlier in response to the U.S. refusing to vote on the embattled settlement area... (I paraphrase) "Don't worry Israel, January 20 is coming!"

Correction. He's an insane child. My teens were more diplomatic with their tweets and use of social media. JHC.

Add on: To clarify McCain and Mitchell are calling a senate panel meeting. McCain said that Obama's sanctions were a good initial step (albeit late) but that "the Russians are not our friends. .....any attack against the United States [in the future] should be met with an overwhelming response". This while Trump wants to play in the sandbox with Putin. Cute.

The One Hundred Fifteenth United States Congress is the meeting of the legislative branch of the United States federal government, composed of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives and is scheduled to meet in Washington, D.C. on January 3, 2017.
I want to see serious issues like this have the full contemplation of both bodies of elected representatives and not just a lame duck president and a minority of outraged reps who are willing to create obstacles that jeopardize our relations with Russia and Israel. Both who could be very important in our struggle with Radical Islam.

That sounds peachy but in the meantime could you get the Donald to stop shoving his nose up Putin's ass via Twitter?

He's an embarrassment. The fact that he's still sending out these cutesy, little tweets as President elect is just obnoxious. And juvenile. I can't find one thing I like about him thus far. Except, I'm not so sure I oppose his nomination for Treasury Secretary (my husband being a part of Wall Street and all that). Muwahahahaha.

I doubt there is anybody who can stop Donald from being Donald. I am willing to give him a chance to prove himself. He is the very first person to achieve the Presidency (a man having never been in politics). His learning curve is to be respected.
I am hopeful.

I'm scared. I'm afraid he's too pig headed, opinionated, arrogant AND thin skinned to really listen to anyone but him. He's been the boss too long and diplomacy (I think) is a foreign term to him. Maybe his kids can reign him in but he did some outrageous things during his candidacy (and granted, still got elected). I'm afraid of "outrageous" in the POTUS. I like a little predictability. He's a loose cannon as far as I'm concerned.

His hardest adjustment is going to be to The Balance of Power guaranteed by our Constitution. In his favor is the Republican control of the Senate and House of Representatives. He is accustomed to being The Boss and that may work against him. His lack of diplomacy was refreshing at first but may prove his Achilles heel. I feel he won because the middle class wanted "Our America Back" and their voice was heard through the Electoral College over that of the urban centers and the West Coast demographics that were strongly Democratic.

Picture him comforting grieving military families or communities affected by (mass) killings or how about something as dignified as laying wreathes, picture all that. He's complimenting a Russian dictator on twitter for fucks sake. No dignity, no grace, no class and he's a friggin' nitwit to boot.

I am scared, too. We all should be scared that such a childish man with mental health issues is going to be President...I have tried to see the other side (those of you who support Dummy Trumpy), but the more I see of his behavior, the more I see such irrational behavior....he has issues and if you really think he is going to be good for this Country, then I just don't understand you. I know we go in circles on this issue, but this man is not a representative of the value system that most Americans hold dear....We already had the women's movement, the Civil Rights movement, and now we are probably going to go backwards in time. It is simple to me and also protected by the Constitution....that all citizens should have equal rights.....I think his tax returns would maybe convince you of his relationship to Russia...why didn't you demand to see his tax returns...again, what is good for goose, is good for gander, but not with Trump....you allow him to get by with his immaturity, his self-love, his hate, his arrogance, etc. I don't think he will be our President very long. He is too much of a loose cannon and is too much of a security risk for this country.....a silly "get even" tweet could start a war with some country who is already mocking Trump.....
