Who is the snowflake now?

I posted that I thought the media should just stop reporting on Trump for a day-funny Stephen King suggested a whole week! Anyway I posted this on my Social Media FB page and a friend from college came out of the wood work and some of my friends called him crazy, and PM'ed me asking who he was.

I ended up deleting the thread because it got out of hand and I just wanted it to end, but not before saving some gems-also he thought I blocked him and sent me a nice private message about Jesus. Too bad I deleted some of the best gems.

I am so sorry this makes christians look bad-plus he kept telling me what a good guy he is. Reminds me of 45!

Quote:Wow?!  Is that what Jesus would do?  Seriously, ask yourself if your blocking me is what Jesus would do? Maybe you are not a Christian anymore? Hey, whatever. That's your American right to choose the path of evil. But I'll ALWAYS be here if you need me. For any reason, anytime. No matter what the circumstances. May Yahweh bless you

Quote:I will stop. GLADLY, if you will stop posting on your SOCIAL network, things that insult and make 50% of the population feel that they are horrible people because they dare to support their president of the United States? I am a good man, and I don't appreciate you or anyone else trying to argue otherwise. If you do, publicly, I am going to respond. If you can't relate, then that is something you need to look into.

Quote:This is not an American Country, as it was founded. Unfortunately, so we can't realistically expect some saintly individual to run for president with the ability to win, and then who would have the BALLS it takes to put the rest of the world in the place that they need to be, which is in submission to the US.

He makes a point about not posting about politics on my or a social network. Maybe I should listen to him.

Quote:have you ever considered not posting about politics on a SOCIAL NETWORK??? Aren't there places that would welcome your political opinions? This is a SOCIAL NETWORK, why would you risk losing friends or family over politics?

I ASSUME that you have a good heart, and good intentions. I would not have friended you if I would have thought that you were a bad person. So I give you and ALWAYS WILL give you the benefit of the doubt.

Quote:the Democrats promoting the BS identity politics agenda are the ones promoting racism. And I am not even close to done yet. I'm thick skinned enough to do this all night long and STILL RESPECT you,

Quote:I understand that , but maybe, just maybe I am a God fearing person, who disagrees with you. Maybe my supporting Trump does not mean I am a horrible person. I can back up every stance I've EVER taken with the Bible. I believe the Bible, 100%.

I unfortunately lost his best posts where he accused another friend of mine of being a pedophile for some reason. I couldn't figure that one out.

He wouldn't have friended me-but he will vote for a president who he admits is a narcisist and has qualities right up there with Moses, King David

Quote:Moses was not allowed the enter the Holy Land because of his sin.

King David was an adulterer, and a murder. King Solomon was a pagan and had hundreds of wives and thousands of sex slaves.

I told him to post this crap on his own page.

Quote:My own page? This is a SOCIAL NETWORK. I have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, posted anything political on my SOCIAL NETWORK page

Message improperly copy/pasted this was all I got:

Quote:Joe* you disappoint me. America is the least anti-Semitic country EVER in all of history. And I can list probably a dozen Jews who would back that up. As for moslems? Well, maybe they shouldn't have bombed our country, and dozens of other

Quote:CNN was rated by Americans polled as one of the LEAST reliable/trusted news networks out there. CNN's ratings continue to plummet, the Food Network passed them up weeks ago and CNN continues to try to demonize Trump and insult his supporters, referring

Anyway, this is about the gist of it.

A lot of trump supporters do that. I see it almost everyday.

Most self professed Christians are counterfeit Christians, they don't walk the walk, they are exceedingly judgemental & intolerant. That's how I know they're counterfeit. I am certain there are more counterfeit Christians than there are true Christians. God doesn't play favorites, everyone is equal in his eyes.

...and I would like to add, 50% of the country does not support this president, not sure where that guy got his facts but it's only about 35% on a good day.

Yes, I see a lot of people on the Left accuse people on the right of being Nazis, White Supremacists, racists, homophobes, Anti-Semites, racist, sexist, xenophobic.....and you get the idea.

MOST aren't. Really it is wrong when anyone does that or judges an entire people. I quite agree with your point.

I think the 50% percentage often quoted is lazy. About 50% of likely voters are for Trump and about the same will vote for a Democratic candidate. Give or take. It is this give or take that will make a new President or reinstate an old President.

I think too for the same reasons that touting that only 35% support Trump is true BUT this does not mean that 65% are opposed to him. Approximately 35% of the population will vote for him and support him and approximately 35% of the voting population are opposed against him and will vote against him and 30% do not give a shit.

The 35% is his base and they aren't going anywhere. trump was right when he said he could shoot someone on 5th ave. and it wouldn't matter. The lying & the grifting only matter to the base when it's the other guy doing it, not when their guy is doing it. Those are the people that trump serves.

The judgemental and intolerant, yes. I hope I don't judge a whole group just by the individual. I try to take each person as they are and I have a hard time making blanket statements like "All republicans are this" Or "All democrats are that"

It is like that person fucking believes that God sent Trump, even though he is imperfect, but yet they can't forgive the other side, but they ask everyone to forgive Trump and support him.
Fucking ridiculous.

It might have been the Martians, who knows they could be God. Thank Allah they sent him.

Nailed it.

We have a "Christian" in government here, he has just been busted divulging a woman's personal medical details because she sent out two tweets about a policy she didn't agree with. So yeh, it's selective Christianity they're interested in. I watched some Fox News today and Sean Hannity and that Judge were going for it together, bouncing off each other spewing hate. Hannity attempts the doey eyes and the Judge the smirk. Jokes on us.

Dead right. I think as soon as anyone goes the sent from God route they have become able to be dismissed. I think that people generally are pretty tribal and there are people who will excuse everything he does and see problems with the opposing views.

Personally, I believe there is plenty wrong with him and plenty right. He is not evil nor a saint.

Fry Guy what do you think about that woman getting the sack from Cricket Oz? And the circumstances surrounding her dismissal?

Also, is it known on the mainland what the current climate is like down here? Or is it a well kept secret? I would be interested on your perspective on that.

I went to Tasmania in 1983. I was a kid back then. I remember it as that kind of mild climate that is neither cool nor warm. I like heat and it was very cool comparitiavely to WA. Mind you that was before I experienced Canberra. I have never been top New Zealand but I reckon it would be similar.

As to that woman being fired for her public attacks on the State Government in respect to abortion rights? I can see both sides BUT if we take ideology and emotions out of it and look at the facts, it is pretty easy to see who is really in the wrong.

They are - personal is personal and work is work - UNLESS they posted as a Cricket Australia employee or using their influence to do so OR Unless there wee other decent reasons to let her go (and let's face it, apart from her story, we do not know).
