I saw that! The president of the ACC said that while this is a Canadian publication donald trump is a taboo subject and it's business ties to the United States influenced their decision. Apparently this isn't the first cartoon of that nature that the artist has drawn but this particular cartoon went viral thanks to George Takei. 

I'm sorry the guy got fired but I don't think he will have to wait too long before another publication picks up his work now that his work has been seen by the masses.
