He did, it was posted online. He talked about the Hispanic invasion of Texas and he expressed the belief that white people would soon be ethnically replaced. He drove over 600 miles to kill those people and he thought that he would probably be killed while doing so but he's a young white dude so THAT didn't happen. It was reported that he told investigators that he was trying to shoot as many Mexicans as possible. 

So he came to kill as many Mexicans as possible and as a result he 20 people and only 15% were Mexican? So he is racist, crazy and incompetent?

I find it hard to believe that you don't see the discussions in this country that point to a supposed fear of anyone that is not white-the fear of Mexico, the fear of Muslims etc etc

Yes men have usually been the shooters. But then that has about nothing to do with anything. The average man on the street is no more likely to pick up a gun and start blasting than the average female. Now the crazy person on the street, released from prison, profiled at work, or written up at school is a WHOLE nother story.

They also supported immigration from a few select countries. (let's not pretend that it was all Muslims or anything as silly because Indonesia is the most populous Muslim country and Philippines is up there too). As Trump always says "They need to come in legally".

So who specifically is fearing Mexicans? Non-white people too? So people are scared of black people? As well? Who?

The Democrats are not doing blackface again are they? Are they trying to implement segregation like they did when they supported Jim Crow? Are they stealing funds out of neighbourhoods that are predominantly populated by black people and allowing them to go to Hell in squalor and disease and rodent infestation?

Who is actually afraid of Mexicans and Black People and Muslims? Doesn't sound like it is Democrats and does not sound like it is Conservatives. There ARE White Supremacists and Racists. They are and have always been historically low in number since the force of the Democrat support behind the KKK was finally withdrawn. But they animals still exist.

They do not fear Mexicans or Blacks or Jewish people BUT they are a real danger to any black (and other minority) person coming across them in the same way any one crossing a gang member is in real danger. But I do not think THEY are scared of Mexicans or Black people. To be honest I do not know either. Is that who you mean? T

here are probably 20000 White Supremacists in US. It is not a great number but can you imagine the damage 20 000 people could do doing individual gun attacks? Or imagine even 200 coming down a street towards you or 50 in a room with you. But likewise 20000 in a country of 380000000 is not a lot comparably.

Those of us paying attention here-obviously know that the media has been quick to judge a mass shooting as a "terrorist" act and usually by a muslim or person of color many times-until now it has become evident that isn't the case. So then they call the white mass shooters "Lone-Wolves"
Now the media has gotten away from using the "lone-wolf" term.

Yes laws need to change there. Hell, if i had a crazy family member living with me and a gun is the house, last thing i would worry about is their second amendment rights to possess and use it

Sally,...that is a point that concerns many gun owners.Also consider the Vet who may suffer or been treated for PTSD. Many dont want to give the Gov the opp to start putting laws into effect that can be ammended or changed to add to list of those not allowed to own. Many of us believe we should change some things to check out folks that purchase but if we all verbally attack each other that are on different sides of the fence or want to go to extremes,...we aint never gonna find common ground.

The 60 year old lady with cancer who legally has a medical marijuana card because her doctor deemed it necessary can't even legally have a pocket pistol to protect herself in the home. Nobody says shit about her rights. But dare say that assault weapons that are capable of killing multiple people in less than a minute should be made harder to get and everyone goes ape shit about their rights and goverment tyranny.

The only way to prevent the mass shootings is to make the weapons difficult to get. They can make it difficult for people with medical marijuana cards to just obtain a hand gun, why can't they do the same and make it difficult for people to buy assault weapons?

I'm not willing to give up my rights to own a gun, but I am willing to give up my right to just leisurely stroll in and buy any assault weapon I wish without having to go through a difficult process and an extensive background check. What, am I going to carry my assault weapon to the mall with me in case of an active shooting? No my assault weapon would be sitting at home during an active shooting and if I had a gun on me I would soon realize it would do me no good without knowing where the shots are coming from in the midst of hundreds of people running around in chaos. As we just seen with the black military guy in the recent shooting. He put his gun away knowing it wont do any good and started running towards an exit trying to get kids out of the way.

Oh come on, we've had so many mass killings for different reasons since I joined this forum. Sandy Hook being one of the worst, the Boston marathon bomber, the pulse nightclub gay crazy Muslim guy, the kid pissed off at his girlfriend, the movie theater guy, the crazy country music festival shooter that nobody even fucking knows why and so on and so on. People are fucking crazy and that's it. Racist, not racist, Muslim,  not Muslim,  Trump supporters, not Trump supporters, it doesn't fucking matter. We have crazy people amongst us with easy access to guns watching social media and this is now our way of life. Why make it into something else than that?

Because these assholes are leaving messages in 4chan and 8chan talking about cleansing the nation of non-whites and writing manifestos that parrot a lot of Trump's talking points.  Remember when you'd hear of a shooting and most of us would think "oh shit, it's another Muslim thing" because that's what we've had drummed into our heads?  Turns out almost every shooter we've had in the last several/many years have been young white men.  Yeah, some have been stark raving lunatics like the Aurora CO movie shooter but that little fucker that shot up the black Baptist church was targeting his victims.  Then Trump and Co started in with all the "rapists and criminals from Mexico" red meat for his fans so the El Paso shooter drove 9 hours to kill a bunch of brown people.  Take a look at Stephen Miller sometime, he's the biggest god damn xenophobe we've probably ever had in the White House.  He's been behind every attempt to ban Muslims from entering this country, even the ones that actually live here and weren't allowed back in.  He's a sick fuck but he's Trump's sick fuck and he's been given a lot of power.

And the "good guy with a gun" idea doesn't work so well when these little fuckers can get their hands on shit like this.
