Did the doctor say anything about your kidneys?

The Doc said it's Tennis Elbow (repetitive strain injury) that caused the swollen elbow.
Then taking Eliquis caused the blood in the bump, to slowly drain under skin down the arm.

I waited too long before going to doc, I should have had the bump drained the day it happened.
I waited cause my wife had the same kind of bump 5 years ago, and hers drained without incident.
However, she does not take Eliquis. That made the big difference.

I only asked because my accountant said he had an unexplained bruise and it turned out to be a kidney problem. That's obviously not your thing though.

I only started taking Eliquis last July.

3 days after I started on it, I accidentally sliced the top of my foot, and it BLED PROFUSELY.
It would not stop, it scared the crap outta me! (I carry a couple of band aids in my wallet now)

Anyway, my wife read somewhere to generously sprinkle "Cayenne Pepper" on the cut, I did and damn
if it didn't quickly stop bleeding. So have it in the house, cause it works!
We don't use it to cook with, only on cuts.
And carry band aids in your wallet too.

Well you're a weird animal so it's not off topic. Your eyes may not be bulging out of your head, but what about your prostate, it could be enlarged for all we know.

You and I and the rest of us are getting older now. What kind of medication are you on? Have you had any significant adverse medical events lately. The best way to live long, is to do annual bloods and prevention keeps you healthy. If you wait for an adverse event, then resolve it, it does damage to your body and lowers your life span. Prevention is the best cure for long life.

I need to draw Sally's attention to this. She'll know!

I hope it's nothing serious, Cars! Good luck!

That's a bat. It's not photoshopped. You can google it and see for yourself.
Well unless he had trauma to it at some point, that sounds like something that could have several causes. It's probably just your regular old senior citizen inflammation though, old people get crap like that all the time.

Doc hadn't seen the crap I had on my arm. Sent me for blood work, waiting on results to come back.

All Results came back "Normal", No infection as the Doc was worried about.

Now cleared for procedure having on Wednesday.

Today is Wednesday, Nervous as hell! Will come back at night if able.

Well I survived my needed procedure, but it can take between one to two weeks to see if it worked. Wish me luck!

Tell ya what, I will wish you a little luck every day for 2 weeks after that you're on you're own. You certainly don't want to use up all you're luck wishing up in one day.

So far, I have to get through the night, just checked, which is not going as good as it should be.

I may be up through out the night, increasing meds as needed to compensate. So I could use some luck tonight.

Still up adjusting meds, procedure done to try to fix one body part, caused adverse reaction problem to another body part.

Finally, just about have it under control. May get to sleep yet.  (It's 1 am)

Cars, it wouldn't hurt to get a prescription for prednisolone a steriod. Also pain relief either ibuprofen or stronger anti inflammatory naproxen. this can make a big difference to bring your body back into homeostatis
