No, my cell phones tend to have an accidental death every few months.   I get cheapo tracphones that I keep in my glovebox and only use at festivals.

Our SIL gave our daughter a thousand dollar cell phone for her birthday. She was happy. 
She has had trouble with it, unbelievable!  Go figure.

Lots of people are paying that. My provider used to give free ones every two years as long as you stayed under contract with them. It was great, but they no longer do that. I didn't pay a dime for the first few phones I had.
