This object was discovered more than 30 years ago in the UK. Some archeologists believe it to be a dildo dating from Roman times. They go on to say that want to be very careful in describing it as a sex toy because this is the type of thing that would be used as a torture device as well.

They know from Roman art & literature that sex objects were made and used, but until now they didn't have any physical specimens.
