Yes, daily. I'm always in a hurry, even when I'm eating. If I'm already standing next to the toaster and slicing a tomato for example, why should I bother taking it to the table. Just put the tomato on the toast, eat it, clean up and be done. Don't even use a plate, just a paper towel.

I do it nearly everyday and I'm delighted to see others do it as well.

I like to sit down at a table to eat. I might eat standing up at work. I usually think it is funny when I see others standing on purpose to eat. One of my roommates does it and I think it is interesting.

Driving all the time I made myself not eat while driving, preferably out of the car somewhere nice with my sammie.

That sounds like a good habit. I can't multi task anymore while driving on these roads. too many critters.

I sat down at the table tonight to eat and the others joined me. : )

I just think it is so horrible to work so hard you can't take 10 minutes to eat like a human.

Yes.

Also, I try to do one thing at a time. So many times I'm like "I can drive while I eat and put on my make up and listen to a podcast and tackle that budget and talk to my friend Suzy"
(I don't do all of those things, but sometimes multi-tasking gets seriously out of hand)

Yeah multitasking sucks. My friends are always playing on their phones while watching the TV at the cigar shop. I prefer to just relax and focus on watching TV and smoking a cigar.

Are those friends younger than you?

About the same age or older. Very few young ones at the cigar shop.

I asked because it seems to me that younger people are more engaged in their phones in public than older people.

Yeah I almost run into the young people at work because they need to walk and talk or play on their phones. What is so important that you can't wait until your sitting down or standing in place, out of the way?
