Is that a serious question? Look at some of the responses in this thread and this is just a very tiny fraction of what America is like. You're a white guy in America, Sally is a white female, you two, and those like you, will always be accepted for simply being white, middle class people. Brown and black people don't get that acceptance, nor do those in the gay community. No one that is different in America will ever get the unconditional acceptance that you & Sally get and it's getting worse by the day.

How is it getting worse by the day?

My sister is a lesbian married to a woman and lives life just like me and everyone else. Did she just miraculously manage to escape the hostility and discrimination that’s getting worse by the day? She is the first letter in the LGBTQ movement after all, but she doesn’t request that children wear clothes and read books to support her carpet munching. You get suckered into sensationalism very easily.

I guess they added an A too for asexual. That is what I think I might be in my old menopausal state. Thank Christ I got the support of a lot of good people out there otherwise I don’t know what I’d do. Probably commit suicide.

I think that's for people that have more than one gender.

So I guess I’m out of the community now? My phone kept changing LGBTQ to LGBTQIA so I had to look up what the I and A meant. For one second of my life I finally felt like I belonged somewhere and then you come along and shit all over it.

Actually intersex means people with more than one gender. Asexual just simply means not sexually attracted to anyone. So I’m back in the club, baby! And with the support of Disney, Starbucks, Target, bud light and little children everywhere.

In case you don’t believe me, the book GayBC’s for children 2 to 8 has a glossary explaining the definitions.

Oh, you've done it now, Duchess.

Sally's going to write a book about how menopausal hag is Mark's stage name.
Disney,  who's currently trying to save money to move to a different state, only throws a 1 float parade.  The float features a recycled beast costume on a stripper pole.
Bud light comes out with a new flavor,  it's a cross between ode de sweat and dripping sarcasm.
Target and libraries everywhere will rejoice at having yet another gay book in their midst.

Sally will be rich and take us all across the pond to visit mark and egg piglets flat.

Wow. All this angst because some people dare to fly a rainbow flag. How dare they do what they want on their own property.

You sound like an ideologue that's upset because the unbelievers refuse to see the light.

Target is just one example. There is no need for a children’s Lbgtq clothing line or books for pre-schoolers called The GayBCs. Children don’t need that anymore than they need a heterosexual line of clothing and books. It’s ridiculous and Target marketing it is called indoctrination which by definition is to teach people (in this case impressionable children) to fully accept the ideas, opinions, and beliefs of a particular group and not accept others.

Gasp!  Putting rainbow clothing on children is preposterous!  We should also ban the candyland game,  because the game board is one giant rainbow.   Hasbro must be run by gays with an agenda!

I actually had to look up gaybc's.  There's 2 versions written by 2 different people.   One is specifically geared towards adults,  and the other is supposedly for all ages.     Where'd you get that it was just for ages 2 through 8?

The rainbow pride flag represents a spectrum of sexuality. What is the purpose of introducing children to that and having them wear clothing that represents it? I don’t get it, but if you want your kids to wear clothing that stands for sexual preferences then have at you fucking freak.

I get the impression that those who dress their kids in rainbow colors are doing so as a sign of support for that community, nothing more.

There is a church in town that has a rainbow flag flying throughout the year, not just in June. It's their way of showing the gay community that they are welcome there.

What support do they need? You never explained, you just said it gets worse by the day.

You don't see how they are disparaged & treated as less than by so many? Really, Sally? Some of been murdered, some have families who view them as being dead to them. Some have lost their jobs. Many remain closeted still because of what they have to lose by coming out. This is all new to you?

I don’t see it. Maybe it’s because I live in Florida where everyone is fucking gay. There’s a guy who has worked at the bowling alley for years, was married to a woman and has a daughter himself and he transitioned into a woman. He wanted to join the women’s bowling league and the ladies said no. He also was using the women’s restroom with a bunch of little girls and the parents complained. When the bowling alley said something to him about it he threatened to sue them. If that’s what you call being treated as less then I don’t really give a shit.

Now come on. I would hope you know me better than that.

People with children should know it's not the gays & transgenders they have to worry about when it comes to their kids. It's the white guys, particularly the self professed Christians.
