DO YOU TAKE IT EVERYWHERE?

I'm sorta kinda shocked to discover some people take their cellphones when they aren't going any further than their backyards. Do you take your phone everywhere?

Yes. But when I'm hanging out with friends, I put it on the charger and leave it alone.

I hate the phone zombies who use their phones while walking and not really looking where they are going. I have to walk around them carefully. What is so important that you can't wait until you are seated or find a place to stand out of my way?

Sometimes I view that motherfucker like it's nothing more than an electronic leash.

When I leave home I throw it into my handbag, when I'm at home it stays on my desk. I very rarely walk around with it and if I took it outdoors it would be misplaced by the end of the day, no doubt about it.

It can be. I sometimes waste too much time on Facebook reels and Tiktok.

My cellphone is in the glove box of my vehicle.   The only reason I have a cell phone is because my husband insists on it.  Half the time,  it's not even charged.  I hate them.   I hate the fact that parents pay more attention to their phones than their kids.

I went to a splash pad the other day,  and played with kids I don't know,  for 2 hours.   Every time I looked up, every adult had their face buried in a phone.   Why are phones more important than kids?

hah  Why are phones more important than kids hah

hah  To many people, their cell phone is as addictive to them as alcohol and drugs
are to other people. They can never get enough of it, and need it all the time!
Unfortunately, some people have both addictions.

It is sad. I see it all the time.

I also once saw kids drawing on thier parents w/ sunblock while each of them was on thier phone.

I want and need a new cell phone. However, I can’t get a new phone cause
my current phone has a malware virus. And I can’t have my data downloaded
into a new phone cause the virus downloads along with the data as happened
to my current phone from my old phone. What a stinking dilemma!  Furious

Yes,  the virus apparently is in the iCloud.

I took the phone to Best Buy geek squad as well as Apple Store and they ran diagnostics on the phone for over a half hour, and neither could fix it.

That has to be depressing considering how much you pay for one of those.

I'm sure a recovery specialist could take care of it but it might cost around $500. Then again, Apple is doing everything it can to prevent "unauthorized" repair, which is becoming the new norm. John Deere has done the same thing.

I would think they could convert the app file to a text file and then convert it back to an app file. They don't seem to care, though.

I'm very surprised to read an Apple product has a virus.
