BLACK FACE
#1
Maybe someone reading this can help me understand why black people get so upset when a white person pretends to be black...as part of a costume for example. I do not have one single fuck to give if a black person were to do white face. You're white, do you care?

More than once I have seen black people get seriously upset about black face, they act as if it just isn't done and one must be racist to do so. Bitch please.  78

It IS racist. It would be similar to me wearing a Jew nose or painting my face yellow and go around saying Ching Chang Chong Bing Bong.

Thank you for taking the time to find that for me!

It looks like it just comes down to me being an asshole. If I were to ever do blackface I wouldn't put the kind of thought behind it that the authors of those articles seem to think people do. I'm a shallow kind of person, I'm only thinking about myself, I'm not even considering social & political repression, I'm thinking about the party.

You sound like Prince Harry(or was it his brother William?) when he thought it was cool to dress as a Nazi for the royal Halloween party.

That was Harry.

Generally speaking, I would never want to deliberately hurt and/or insult someone.
