Why was I thinking you were retired and enjoying life on some beach somewhere?

I dislike Florida too. There are things I like about Georgia; but I really prefer New England with it's four seasons and old world charm. Georgia is a series of strip malls and none of the towns have any character.

new england is full of history. i liked the keys in florida, but i could happily just go there once in a while now. i hated the heat and hurricanes.

i love to roam the old cemeteries and see the stones of the original pilgrims. there is something evocative about boston and salem and plymouth and the cape.

I just let the floods wash the bodies (or what left of them) into the streets.

I was born in MA but live in FL. now. I cant stand the humidity and hurricanes. I do like the little town I live in though. Its a block away from the ocean and has a bit more charm and character than all those sub divisions and strip malls they are building everywhere.

Going into one of those sub divisions reminds me of that episode from the twilight zone, every damn thing looks the same and you just keep going in circles and circles that lead to nowhere.

They would just turn into mud now, besides they were smart back then they did not bury people in flood plains.

The murderers and killers became dinner for the animals.
