Who has it? Do you use it for IM? I was pointed to Skype by a person here when I was bitching about Yahell Messenger being a ginormous clusterfuck and plotting a way to go firebomb the building from where it is run.
I like Skype IM because even though I don't have a microphone yet, I can talk to folks, hearing their voice and typing my replies. You can attach pictures and files and shit and Skype is just 10,000 times better than Yahell Messenger. And even if you're talking to someone - voice to voice -half a world away, it's still free!!!

I had Skype a long time back. Used it a few times and found the service great...quality good and sound perfect.
Of course then people heard me talk and ran off..........the wimps

I use it too. Yahoo turned to total crap after version 7 so I ditched it. Skype never runs slow, gunks up or disconnects on you.
It's great for file sharing too! No need to figure out how to email something large... just drag and drop.
Now if they would only set up a photo sharing feature like Yahoo had so we don't need to clog up everyone we speak to on there with photos they only need to look at and not save only to toss in the can later.
I'm gunna surf the plugins and add ons for it today and see if it has something like that. Would be handy.

OK do NOT bother with the plugins.... checked out most of them but none to do what I'm looking for. Anything close is useless from the comments when you click More>about and go to the page on the net where the info is on each plugin.
Why fucking bother when everyone complains they don't work? Stupid asses, don'tcha just love when people recommend shit that don't work?
