The sookie sookie song always cheers me up, I'm not sure if its the beat or the fact that its a real song. I believe it was the B side to pusher man. Sookie,sookie,sookie,sookie....

It's a good song and some lightening up is a good thing, imo. Feels a bit dark today. If you had the dancing banana emoticon, might have done the trick? Smiley_emoticons_smile

That song would never make it past the studio today. Back then bands could do any song and it would hit the airwaves good or bad it went out.

I saw them a couple of times in the late 80s or early 90s at bike rallies and a fair or two. They were going under John Kay and Steppenwolf (so I figured the band was reconfiged and the name had to do with royalties or trademark?). They were fun to watch in that kind of setting; still sounded good.
