i was waiting in my car outside a small store this morning, and in the car next to me was a very cute yellow Labrador puppy...he was at full attention watching for his mistress to come out, and too adorable 109 for words!
when she finally came out she had her hands full and he was so overcome with excitement, he wouldn't let her get in the car, he was all over her. ::lol::
anyway, it made me smile. Smiley_emoticons_smile and i'm still smiling.

Labradors are cute.

One of my neighbours has a black labrador and it acts like a kid on Christmas morning 24/7.

"Oh my god! a tree!, oh wow! some grass!, oh wow! a person! pet me, scratch my belly, oh my god they threw a stick! get the stick!"

the tragic death of this young luger at the Olympics has certainly cast a pall on the games. all i could think of during the opening ceremonies was how much he had looked forward to it, how excited he must have been. and his parents had to see his fatal crash. it broke my heart for him, for them, and for his country. some good photos of opening ceremonies here:
