When are the assholes on the road these days gonna learn that when the law allows a right turn on a read light, that means you have to STOP your fucking car first and let oncoming traffic by....it does not mea hurry the hell up to get through the red light BEFORE the oncoming cars.
I was driving down the road today, car ahead of me stopped at light. Ligt turn green just as I got there. Car ahead started moving ahead...then the above mentioned asshole screamed through the read light, turning right. Never even stopped...or looked. Guy ahead of me had to slam on brakes to avoud hitting the jerk. Luckily I was still far enough behind that I did not have to slam my brakes.
The asshole was not in a hurry for any emegency it seems, because he seemed to slow to "normal" speed after he got through...and did not speed up at other corners.

I was just talking to a guy at work today and he said he still had unused tickets from a show he was scheduled to do the day he died. The show was in Maine. Everybody was turned away at the gates with the news.
