That's horrible. WTF? There is other stuff to eat besides us. I guess they are tired of seafood.

NO SHIT. I stopped watching Centurion because it was so violent. I thought I would relax on Mock. I'm going back to my movie.

so it's not one of the sharks they caught.
they've got a problem.
and it's big enough to sever appendages.

(CNN) -- A German woman died Sunday after being attacked by a shark in waters off Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, in an area where three snorkelers were injured and two sharks were caught last week, officials said.

Egypt's tourism ministry has decided to close the Sharm el-Sheikh beach until the shark responsible for Sunday's attack is found, according to the nation's Interior Ministry.

Jochen Van Lysebettens, general operations manager of the Red Sea Diving College in Sharm el-Sheikh, said employees at the Hyatt Regency resort told him the attack happened about noon (5 a.m. ET) in a protected swim area off the resort. Van Lysebettens has three dive-instruction operations in the area, including one at the Hyatt Regency.

The 70-year-old woman, a regular guest at the resort, was snorkeling near a reef when she was attacked, he said. She called for help, and a lifeguard brought her to shore, but she had lost too much blood and resuscitation efforts failed, Van Lysebettens said. The woman's arm and leg were severed, he said.

I'm glad it's dinner time because I just lost my lunch.

An Egyptian official believes that Israel's intelligence agency might be behind the fatal shark attack of a German tourist in Sinai over the weekend, the Jerusalem Post reports.

"What is being said about the Mossad throwing the deadly shark (in the sea) to hit tourism in Egypt is not out of the question, but it needs time to confirm," South Sinai Gov. Muhammad Abdel Fadil Shousha told egynews.net.

No sympathy from me for people that go into a shark's territory and end up as lunch. Tough shit. If you don't want to end up on their menu, don't go in the water. If you still want to go in, don't blame the shark for doing what it's supposed to do-eat.

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny when animals kill and eat people? I honestly love when it happens.

Floating on her back in the warm waters of the Red Sea, Olga Martsinko was enjoying her holiday. She looked up at the clear blue sky and idly kicked the flippers on her feet as she swam close to the sandy beach full of sunbathers.

The next moment, her nightmare began. Olga’s outstretched left hand touched something solid with a rough skin as it dived underneath her.

‘At first I thought it was a dolphin, but then I felt a sharp pain as it came up, sank its teeth into my arm and began to wag me around,’ she recounted yesterday from a hospital bed in Cairo.

‘It tried to pull me down with it into the sea, and I saw the huge jaws of a shark and a sharp fin beside me. The shark let me go for a second and I swam away. But it came back for more, biting me again and again from behind.

‘If I had not had my flippers on, it would have taken off both my legs.’ As it was, by the time Olga made it to the jetty, to be hauled to safety by other holidaymakers, she was terribly injured.

The white tip shark chasing her through the water had taken a chunk of the top of her left thigh and buttock. Her hand and arm were missing, and her blood had turned the sea red.

they don't, they only taste you. then back off. depends on the type of shark too. whites, bulls, tigers are extremely aggressive.
usually attacks are mistaken identity, they might think you're a seal.

ADELAIDE, Australia -- Police say a diver has been killed by two great white sharks off the south Australian coast.

Police Insp. Glen Sickerdick told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio the abalone diver was surfacing Thursday when he was attacked near Port Lincoln in South Australia state.

An ambulance service spokeswoman told Australian Associated Press the skipper of the dive boat saw the attack and returned alone to Port Lincoln where he was treated for shock.

Sickerdick says a search for the diver's remains will begin Friday.
