So, with all the new hand held and portable gadgets and gizmos out there that allow us to connect to Mock and other lesser important places on the Interwebz, as well as doing about anything else....will the Desktop PC ever go away? Has it run it's course? Found this article on CNN (the new site, guys) and it talks about that. I am just putting a link as there are pics and a video as well as the article.

Eventually, everthing becomes obsolete. The only exception I can think of is mama's milk, but nature gave us that one, not man (er, woman).

I don't think they'll go away. I just bought one after using laptops the past 7 yrs...My Blackberry is only good for taking care of biz on the go, I'd hate to have use it as my main source.
