[b]Well, I like country and bluegrass. Also some Celtic. In the country/bluegrass genre I like Allison Krauss about the best. And Celtic Woman. Here are a video from each.

Had this as our wedding dance:

I have actually lost count of the amount of times I have seen The Strangers live In concert... I think It is around 168. I have hitch-hiked all over Europe to see them as well as Iceland.
It all started here In 1978

Of course America had been discovered earlier. It was hushed up.

as a child there was very often Italian opera playing in our home, and it entered my very pores!
the drama! the murders! the passion! the high Cs! whoooo!
my Dad loved Enrico Caruso and left me these original 1913 heavy vinyl records of the maestro, which i treasure.
When Luciano Pavarotti came to the scene, Dad and i were sure he was Caruso reincarnated. in fact, i think he was even better. but that may be due to better recording technology.
i worshiped Pavarotti heart and soul, and was crushed when he died too soon. he sings with the angels now.
i like many operas, not only Italian. but i cannot stand German opera, it's awful! an assault upon the ears and brain!
