the murder of just one good man diminishes all~

“As a man, he was the best that could have walked the Earth,” said Ramona Lugo, 47, whose brother, Richel Nova, 58, was brutally stabbed Thursday. “As a man, as a brother, as a father, as a friend ... he was a saint.”

this immigrant from the Dominican Republic has been here working 3 jobs for 26 years. these scumsucking filthy fuckers ordered a pizza with the intent to rob and murder whoever delivered it, someone's college kid or someone's father, it didn't matter. they butchered him for a little over $100. there was blood all over the residence. it was a savage scene according to police.
i want to see the death penalty in Mass. i am sick of the birkenstock-wearing prius-driving moonbats and bleeding hearts that inhabit this state and always have. these fuckers need to die for what they did, and i don't care if they are young and weren't properly toilet trained.

their photos have not been published yet.

police arrest three suspects in stabbing death of Hyde Park pizza delivery man
September 4, 2010 03:33 PM
BOSTON GLOBE

Boston police have charged two teenagers and a 20-year-old with the murder of a 58-year-old pizza delivery man who was stabbed to death while making a delivery in Hyde Park Wednesday night.

Michel Andre St. Jean, 20, of Hyde Park; Alexander Emmanuel Gallett, 18, of Hyde Park; and Yamiley Mathurin, 17, of Mattapan each face charges of murder, armed robbery, and armed breaking and entering of a dwelling, police and prosecutors said at a news conference today.

The slaying of Richel Nova of Hyde Park was "chilling in its callousness and violence," Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said in a statement. Boston Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis said the suspects were "vicious thugs" who had shown Nova no mercy.

Nova was lured to a vacant house at 742 Hyde Park Ave. late Wednesday, where the suspects allegedly robbed and fatally stabbed him, Boston police have said.

Authorities have said the suspects had placed an order with Domino's and gave the address of the house. After Nova was stabbed, the three allegedly drove off in his Subaru Legacy, which was recovered Thursday at church parking lot on River Street.

Nova was an immigrant from the Dominican Republic who lived alone and worked several jobs. He lived about 3 miles from the house where he was killed.

"Richel Nova was a hard-working man making an honest living to provide for his family when he was preyed upon by three vicious thugs. For a small amount of money, these suspects committed unspeakable acts of violence, while showing Mr. Nova no mercy. The criminal justice system should equally show no mercy in determining their punishment," Commissioner Davis said in a statement.

Davis said at a news conference that the three were arrested Friday night. He would not give the exact amount of money that was stolen, but described it as a little more than $100.

While other people were planning barbecues and going to the beach, the trio were plotting this attack, Conley said.

After the attack, "They fled in his car, taking his money and the food that he brought," Conley said.

The officials said detectives had received community cooperation and developed "substantial evidence" and the trio were arrested on the basis of statements by the suspects, physical evidence, and surveillance video.

RE: i want the death penalty in this state!

i'd hate to be the public defender charged with defending this filth. i hope he or she doesn't try to blame society for the horror inflicted on a poor working man. feelings are running very high in Boston.

RE: i want the death penalty in this state!

more on the victim, by all accounts a gentle and beloved man who was trying to make the American dream come true for his twin daughters.

Nova, who was trained as a tailor in his native Dominican Republic, moved to the United States in 1984. He loved baseball and had a taste for telenovelas, his sister said, and he maintained strong ties to the Dominican Republic, where his parents still live. He also worked on Boston’s Comite de Banilejo - translated as “far from Bani,” the name of Nova’s hometown - which organizes cultural events for Boston’s Dominican community.

But his passion was supporting his twin daughters, Michelle and Marlene Romero, 20, his family said. A funeral will be held Tuesday.

Back in the Dominican Republic, Nova’s father is carrying around a picture of his son, Bernabel said. She added that his daughters are inconsolable.

“They don’t talk and they don’t eat,” she said. “They’re crying all the time. It’s too much.”

Friends recall that Nova, a simple man, had a simple wish: “He wanted to die in his own country,” said Jose Grullon, 19, who worked with Nova at Pizza Hut. “He used to say that he wanted to die under a mango tree.”
The oldest of Nova’s three children, Irving Lara, 22, choked back tears as he said he was trying to be strong for his sisters and mother.
“The whole family is just destroyed. He was like glue. He kept us together,’’ Lara said outside his East Boston home. “I’m trying to do everything for my dad right now.’’

Lara, who works as a mechanic at Logan International Airport, described his father as a quiet, peaceful man who adored his children. He last spoke with his father a few days before he died.

“The last time I actually spoke to him he was coming back from taking my sister to college in North Adams, and I had to give him directions. He went out there with my mother and on the way back wanted to know the exit because last time he got lost,’’ Lara said. “That was it. Five minutes.’’

The killing was personal for Mayor Thomas M. Menino and City Councilor Felix G. Arroyo, who know Nova’s twin 20-year-old daughters. The women, who graduated from Boston Latin School in 2008 and are juniors in college, have worked at City Hall for the past four summers.

“There’s no respect for life anymore,’’ Menino said by phone yesterday, calling the suspects “animals’’ for allegedly stabbing Nova and then taking the pizza box that was stained with his blood. mayor 'mumbles' menino needs to STFU so he doesn't jeopardize the case. he's a moron.

Menino described Nova and his daughters, Michelle and Marlene Romero, as hard-working, good people. They worked in Menino’s office this summer and last; at night they worked second jobs at Logan, the mayor said.

“They loved their father so much,’’ said Menino.

Lara said his father pushed education and was extremely proud that his daughters were in college and had worked for the mayor. His sisters, he said, “will never be the same.’’

“It’s that classic immigrant story of a guy who came here looking for a better life for his children,’’ said Arroyo, whose brother is dating one of Nova’s daughters. “He was working a job he took to put his kids through college . . . and because of some extremely evil people he’s not going to actually be able to see the fruits of that labor.’’

RE: the murder of one good man

It's difficult for me not to use a derogatory slur when referring to these little bastards.

I see a version of these people whenever I take the shortcut in town. They are all hanging out in the street, curbs & porches of other lowlifes in the middle of a workday. They live in a hovel with a caddy parked in the driveway & they all look alike. Bastards, every last one of them. I hope these kids have experienced their last free moment in society.

RE: the murder of one good man

any one of those fucks could have been working for a pizza place for some money. instead they chose this. they took the pizza box with Nova's blood splashed on it and ate the pizza in the car they stole. it better be the last stinking pizza they ever eat.
i think the mood in Boston, among people who are sick and damn tired of being savaged by dirty lowlife excuses for humans, may result in a lynch mob at the courthouse tuesday when they are arraigned.

PULEEZE let them out on bail yer honer."

I hope these lil' bastards are scared out of their minds. However, it won't even come close to the fear that poor man must have experienced.

STILL no photos!
one scumbag showed up with face covered.
no bail.
they're safer in jail anyway.
sickening details:

Prosecutors today revealed the chilling details of the late-night slaying of a pizza deliveryman at a vacant home in Hyde Park as the man’s grieving family demanded justice at a packed West Roxbury District Court.

The three suspects accused of fatally stabbing Domino’s deliveryman Richel Nova, 58, last Wednesday night had every intention of killing him, said Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Hickman.

“It was never their intention that Richel Nova would be leaving that home in any other way but a body bag,” Hickman said.

Hyde Park residents Michel Andre St. Jean, 20, and Alexander Emmanuel Gallett, 18, and Yamiley Mathurin, 17, of Mattapan are charged with murder, armed robbery and breaking and entering.

When Mathurin called Domino’s in Hyde Park at about 11 p.m., she asked questions about how much money the deliveryman would have on him to make change, Hickman said. She said Mathurin was informed the drivers only have $20 on them. Mathurin then placed her order, Hickman said.

When Nova arrived at 742 Hyde Park Ave., Mathurin told him the entrance was around back and lured him to a rear porch, saying she needed to get her wallet, Hickman said. St. Jean and Gallett were hiding inside, she said.

Nova was set upon as soon as he walked in the house, where he was stabbed repeatedly in the chest, throat and back, Hickman said. The suspects then went through his pockets for money, she said.

“It was agreed that he had to be finished off,” Hickman said.

That’s when the suspects went through Nova’s belongings one last time before slitting his throat, Hickman said. Officers were called to the home just before midnight. Nova was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday.

Surveillance video taken from the scene showed Mathurin leaving the vacant home with a box of pizza, Hickman said. The suspects left the scene in Nova’s Subaru Outback, which was found Thursday morning behind St. Adalbert Parish in Hyde Park.

A pizza box covered in blood and containing three pizza slices was found near the car, Hickman said. She said police tracked down St. Jean because the suspects gave his telephone number to Domino’s as a callback number.GOOD THAT THEY'RE STUPID AS SHIT! St. Jean later gave up Mathurin and Gallett, Hickman said.

Mathurin and Gallett showed their faces during the arraignment. St. Jean appeared with his face covered. Their attorneys argued unsuccessfully to keep the suspects from going before Judge Kathleen Coffey.

“I’m not going to have them arraigned in absentia,” Coffey said. “If they want to have a hood on that’s fine, but they need to come out.”

Attorney for suspect in delivery man killing says officials are 'demonizing' his client
September 7, 2010 04:10 PM
Boston Globe Staff

The attorney for one of three people accused of carrying out the premeditated murder of a pizza deliveryman today demanded that the media and public officials stop "demonizing'' his client.

Boston attorney Jeffrey T. Karp represents Michel St. Jean, 20, who was arraigned in West Roxbury Municipal Court today on charges of first degree murder. St. Jean and the other defendants, 18-year-old Alexander E. Gallett of Hyde Park and 17-year-old Yaminey Mathurin of Mattapan all pleaded not guilty and were ordered held without bail.

"It's unfortunate that authorities -- whether it be law enforcement or whether it comes from the mayor's office i said the moron mayor needed to STFU or taint the case! and sure as hell the lawyer jumped right on that!! – are demonizing my client in the press and portraying him as some gangster, thug, hitman or terrorist,'' Karp said. "That's just isn’t the case.''

Karp, in a telephone interview this afternoon, said the allegations that his client was involved in the brutal killing of 58-year-old Richel Nova has stunned St. Jean's relatives.

"This is not something that is consistent with my guy's background, history or even demeanor,'' said Karp, who added that St. Jean has never been arrested prior to being charged with participating in Nova's murder. "He has his own life in front of him.'' NOT ANYMORE!

Karp, St. Jean's attorney, said in the interview that his client's clothing had been seized by Boston police during the investigation and that authorities provided St. Jean with a white jumper to wear to court.

Karp said he noticed the jumper -- which is usually worn by investigators at crime scenes to avoid contaminating evidence -- had a hood. Before St. Jean came into the courtroom, Karp said he pulled the hood up over his client's head.

"I simply just did not want to taint the investigation by having my client's picture splashed across the newspapers so it could possibly lead to a misidentification'' by prosecution witnesses, he said. WHAT COMPLETE HORSESHIT! HE HAD JAIL CLOTHES!

Nova's funeral today.
Nova’s emotionally distraught twin daughters and their mother clung to each other for support. Hymns sung in Spanish were broken by wails and cries of grief from mourners.

Nova’s friends and family were joined by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Police Commissioner Edward Davis. Police had a heavy presence outside keeping intersections open as the funeral procession arrived and left.

Boston doofus Mayor "mumbles" Menino is seen supporting Nova's widow. (fat guy with white hair)
