My office is by the Albany Airport. As I went by on my way home, there were Albany County Sheriffs all over blocking traffic going into the airport. Then I got on the Northway and there was a Trooper at every turn around with their lights on. There was not one car on the southbound side of the road which was weird. I have never seen it that way. Northbound was sort of back up and going slow. Then here they come - three troopers with their lighs on - a few black SUV's - the VP's limo - more black SUV's and Troopers. And a few helicopters. It was kinda cool seeing the motorcade. Joe Biden spoke at my son's school yesterday. I told one of my friends about seeing the motorcade and how it seemed with all that hoopla they just made him a target. She says you were so close and you MISSED him? hahaha She hates him and Obama.

I got to see Air Force One once last year when Bush was in town. That was cooler than seeing him. I was amazed how close we were able to get...despite the fence between us and the plane.

Eh, I don't know. I am not that impressed with Biden. I think I get sucked in by Obama's charm and forget that he really hasn't kept a lot of his promises. But then again, he hasn't been in office that long. I hate politics and don't keep up on all the shit like I probably should either.
