At any given week in N.Y. there are 800 teachers on paid administrative leave. If they are getting paid 1,200.00 a week that is 960,000.00 per week. Taxes are due 4/16/11 this year.

I'm betting that your figures are low, since a temp also has to be paid to fill the time slot left vacant by the "on leave" teachers.

Administrative leave could be anything from pending drug charges to just about anything I guess. And yes I am on the low side.
