Dick, in your scenario, if the first marble you pick is black, you're fucked and don't get another chance. If you pick the bowl with the white marble, you have a 100% chance of being correct, if you pick the bowl with the 99 marbles you still have a 50⁄ 50 chance of getting a white marble.
