OPee, unless you're on your way to some god forsaken shithole to die for the chess game, I wouldn't be so quick to call anyone a coward for getting deferments. I grew up during that war and the involuntary servitude better known as the draft, and damn few wanted to die in that jungle. Most guys were scrambling for deferments or CO status, and some even split for Canada. Anyone who isn't in combat who calls someone else a coward for not going to war is a chicken hawk.
