PUBLIC PROPOSALS
#1

What do you think about popping the question in a public setting?

Personally, that's not my scene...at all. I wouldn't even be cool with it if it were just family & friends around.

I'm the same way. I hate attention being brought to me. I want it private. I don't want anyone at my wedding either.(which is tomorrow) We're having a really small ceremony with our parents.

Hell noooooooooooo. I'd be kind of pissed, actually. I think guys that do that pretty much assume that she will say yes which is terribly presumptuous. I'd probably say no just out of spite. Smiley_emoticons_fies

Yayyy wedding! There's some antiquated notion that you're not supposed to congratulate the bride but I'ma do it anyway. Congrats!!!

Proposing in public is just douchebags trying to pressurise the person they are proposing to to say yes.

I think its hilarious when public proposals get refused, serves them right attention whores.

They are stupid. Some women like it though. They love all the attention. Personally, I hate to be the center of attention.

Oh yeah, CONGRATS, and don't be nervous, it will all be just fine, you'll see!

(And I also don't like the "public proposal" idea, as it was already said, it's just for attention!)

HAPPY WEDDING DAY, TRIXIE!!!!

Shit..before my husband and I were married, we had been living together for almost a year. One day he was at work..I was at home and he called me and said "You know, we should get married before the end of the year so we can file a joint tax return" He proposed in August, we married in in December.
