Not sure if I've mentioned this in this forum before...but my "lil sis" owns a business that caters to animals (pets) that have been injured, and need physical rehabilitation. She opened the first one in Ca a couple of years ago, and she's kicking ass. Anyhoo, I thought I'd share with you all a first in Veterinary medicine/rehabilitation that my sister is a part of.

Her ex BF's Rotty lost a leg in a bout with cancer...yes, this guy has more money than most of us will ever see in a lifetime. This is the first ever prosthetic leg ever developed for a dog. This is her second time with the prosthetic on..it's really kind of cool. It was made by a man that makes prosthetics for adult athletes. I'm real proud of my little sis, and what she's accomplished, and how successful she is. It's her voice in the background.

Really is cool shit...until this they've been outfitted with wheels and such. I'll post updates as they become available..will be really interesting to see if an animal can lean to use this as a human would.

And might I add...especially for you, Duchess..wouldnt it be sweet if the could adapt this type of technolgy for horses instead of putting them down?

A horse is too big for something of that nature but yeah, it would be nice. There would be a serious amount of money involved in the care & rehabilitation, more money than some people make in a year.

You say that now (a horse is too big)... but like all things being newly developed...you start off small, and then take the lessons learned to put it to larger applications.
