I'm surprised I never posted about this. Or LC for that matter..I did a forum search and came up empty.

A couple of years ago in my neck of the woods, little 8 year old boy disappears. Massive hunt for him...parents on TV, special T-shirts, ect, ect, ect. The search goes on for a couple of weeks.

All too often nowadays, we get the same ending with stories such as this. I don't get it.

i'm glad to see justice was partly served in another tragic case.

the thing is Kid, i can't follow every single missing child case in this country. i am only one person. i've been doing this for about 10 years, and it's frustrating at best to keep track of them all. i just muddle through and stay in tune with the Amber Alert system and NMEC.

I wasnt bitching about you not following/knowing the case, LC...just was a bit surprised. Shit, I'm not even sure it made national news, but these things typically do when the parents end up being involved. But then again, it was two years ago prior to the crime forum, methinks.

It pisses me off that the mother was allowed to make a fucking deal, though.

i do remember another awful Idaho case...
bludgeoning to death three people at a home near Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, and kidnapping Shasta Groene, 8, and her brother Dylan, 9, on May 16, 2005. Duncan was seized when people at a restaurant recognized the girl with him. Dylan's body was later found in Montana.

Yessim....if I recall, the asshat had taken both of the kids into the woods...hiding out. Made the little girl watch him kill her brother. I just dont get what drives these sick fucks....and why is it that we see this type of fucked up shit so much more nowadays? Has it always been like this, and our media has gotten better about reporting it? Or have the sick fucks just gotten sicker?
